Some favourite images from weddings we have photographed
We have photographed well over 400 (and counting!) weddings across Oxfordshire, but also surrounding counties and across the UK. Our style of wedding photography is known as documentary, also known as reportage or candid. This means we specialise in taking natural, un-posed images, or moments. We always work together as a husband and wife team, providing two photographers for every wedding. Our aim is not to get in the way, not to boss you and your guests about and never to take over. We are typically with our couples from preparation until at least one hour after your first dance. If you look at our images below, you will see nothing staged or set up. All the images happened “in the moment” and we made sure we were in the right place at the right time. Our focus (if you excuse the pun!) is to tell the story of the day; who was there, what happened when, how, why, and so.
We will of course take a limited number of formal group photos for you; we don't make a drama out them, we get them taken efficiently and you can get on with enjoying the day! The same applies for portraits of the two of you. We have a little walk, and we give you the time and space to enjoy being married, whilst we take some relaxed portraits. Typically we can get the groups photos and portraits done in less than 30 minutes, giving you more time to spend with your friends and family, and have FUN. Which is what weddings should all be about, we believe.
